Just a thought… if you aren’t able to make it to court for whatever reason, you should probably try to find a better excuse to get out of it than calling in a bomb threat. We guarantee whatever you’re getting out of court for will just become that much worse when you suddenly face additional charges!
Jermaine McCain, 36, was initially set to show up in court before a judge, but he came up with a not-so-smart way to delay the inevitable. He dialed 911 and threatened to detonate an explosive at the courthouse. Oh man. When he was finally apprehended for the second time, he told authorities he simply “had things to do” that day and wasn’t up for going to court. He was obviously arrested again and charged with calling in a fake bomb threat to a courthouse.
But not before sending authorities on a high speed chase through Pennsylvania! They eventually were able to apprehend him after he crashed into a police car.
He is now being charged with making a false public alarm and placing a 911 call without actual emergency. He is currently being held in jail on a $50,000 bail bond for flight from justice charge. He also faces additional criminal charges stemming from other events. He’s got a lot going on there!
I’m pretty sure he’s going to have all the time in the world to show up to court now.
