This guy was headed to rehab when he just needed to get one last hit of crack. So obviously he stopped at the local pizza place to see if they had any drugs available.
Fritz John Walter, Jr., 25, stopped by the pizza joint and asked the employees if they had any crack cocaine that they would consider selling him. Because… that is generally on every pizza place’s menu! The employees told him to keep on moving and called police, reporting that a man was there who was intoxicated and looking for drugs.
The cops found him in the middle of the road carrying a “full can of an alcoholic beverage in a brown paper bag.” Walter then told the cops that he was recently a patient at a local rehab center and was trying to get drunk and high before he was going to readmit himself. That doesn’t exactly seem like the best protocol to get sober.
Walter was eventually arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication. We’re not sure if he ever did end up going back to rehab, but it sounds like he’ll have some time to sober up in jail first.
