In Rochester, N.Y. Robert Cordara Jr., 22, stole a Rural Metro ambulance while he was drunk on the University of Rochester campus. Not only did he steal it, but he also ended up crashing the ambulance in the early hours of the morning.
He ended up traveling about a quarter of a mile before driving off the road and ruining some poor person’s flower bed. The ambulance was damaged so badly that it needed to be towed away.
When he was arrested, he said, “You got me… do whatever you need to do. It was stupid.” You think?
He told police he had been drinking beers and manhattans making his BAC .09 when he took a breathalyzer test. He was charged with grand larceny, criminal mischief, DWI and other violations.
The judge set his bail at $1,500 and sent him to the County Jail to sleep it off.
