Daycare workers recently stopped a man from leaving with two babies after the stranger shoved his way into the daycare facility and grabbed the infants.
Calvin Davis, 47, rang the front doorbell at the daycare facility and pushed a worker over to get in. The man immediately went to the infant room, punched another worker in the face, picked up two of the babies and ran.
The man attempted to get out of the facility but another worker stood in front of the door to try to stop him. The other worker ran behind Davis and grabbed one of the babies, while the second worker caught the second baby as he was slipping from Davis’ arm.
Davis ran from the daycare, but quickly was stopped by the police. He refused to obey, and ended up being tasered by the cops. Davis wasn’t deterred, however, and started approaching the police officer, who ended up deploying the Taser a second time.
The cops finally subdued Davis with a baton and ended up taking him into custody.
Because of him being Tasered twice, he was taken to the hospital for evaluation. When he was released, he was charged with kidnapping, assault and other offenses.
The two babies were ultimately OK, although one sustained a minor cut. What a scary situation!
